Creating dashboards for custom objects

You can create dashboards for system custom objects and for the custom objects that you create.

To create the dashboard, you must be granted access rights for the custom object.

To check whether you have the correct access rights, click Configuration > Security > Roles and then click the Permissions tab.

Procedure

From the menu, click Dashboards.
From the list of Dashboards, select the dashboard container.
Click Add Widget.
Select the type of chart such as Table.
Enter the name of the dashboard.
From the Widget Width list, select Regular or Wide.
Choose who can view the chart. By default, the chart is visible to all users who have dashboard privileges.
From the Object list, select the custom object.
Enter the required information. The information that is added varies depending on the type of chart or table you want to create.
Save your changes.

The dashboard is created.
