Managing stockroom accessories

Efficiently manage, maintain, review, and analyze key information for all accessories within your stockrooms. Use the stockroom accessories page for comprehensive management tasks, including transferring, assigning, and receiving accessories.

On the stockroom accessories page, the focus is on the accessories in a single stockroom. You complete management tasks for the accessories in the stockroom, such as tasks for managing accessories in your Chicago stockroom.

Click Location > Stockrooms, select a stockroom from the list, and then click the Accessories tab. See the Accessories section in Stockroom details overview.

To manage accessories on the stockroom accessories page, you will need to have permissions for all three objects:

• Accessories: Read-only at the minimum.
• Stockroom Accessory: Read-only at the minimum.
• Stockrooms: Add, Edit at the minimum.

Granting role permissions

From the accessories page, you can view new, used, and loaned accessories and perform actions such as:

• Adding accessories to stockrooms
• Receiving accessories from a stockroom
• Transferring accessories from a stockroom
• Assigning accessories to users
• Returning a user's accessories
• Deprecating accessories
