How to Create/Edit Roles

  1. Navigate to the People window
  2. Select Roles and click on “+ Add Role”

In the Role creation window,  create role name. We’ll do a Read Only account below with a filter. Click on the section on of Oomnitza you want to add/revoke privileges from. 

For read only, select “Assets.” All of the Asset settings will appear. If you want this role to have read only ability to Assets, click on assets again and select “Read.” Do this for each of the various asset options.


Now let’s say this is a Read Only account for assets managed in a certain location. We can do this by adding a filter.

Select Save and you're done!


You can now assign this role to a user
