Copying charts and tables

You can copy the charts and tables that you create to other dashboards and share them with users.

For example, managers can create charts and tables that are role specific, copy them, and then share them with other users. They can increase the productivity of new joiners by creating charts and tables that surface business critical information that users with specific roles can monitor.  

 Role permissions

Add, edit, and delete or read all, add, edit, and delete private dashboards.

1. On the chart or table that you want to copy, click Actions .
2. Click Copy to.
3. Select a dashboard.
4. Optional. Rename the chart or table.
5. Save your changes.

Result

The chart or table is copied to the dashboard that you selected. The chart or table will inherit the access type of the dashboard that it is copied to such as:

• System global
• Role specific
• Private

Depending on your role permissions, you can change the access type of the dashboard.
