Release 4.3.0 - December 2018

Hi Oomnitza Customers!

We are excited to announce the next major release of Oomnitza, version 4.3. We've enhanced our Service Desk Integrations and have introduced a number of new features to the platform.

Jira Server Integration

We've released a brand new Jira Server integration that provides a streamlined user interface and optimized performance. We've also added the ability for a Service Desk agent to modify asset details, such as Status or Assigned To, from directly within Jira Server.

Zendesk Integration

We've refreshed our Zendesk integration with a streamlined user interface, and have introduced the ability for Service Desk agents to modify asset details from within Zendesk. Agents now have the rich asset context they need, and can take action more efficiently. Asset updates in Zendesk will automatically appear in Oomnitza, and will detail all activity in the History tab.

Freshservice Integration

Oomnitza has introduced a brand new Service Desk integration with Freshservice. Without leaving a ticket, an agent now has the ability to see all related asset information, providing rich context to more efficiently resolve issues. In addition, Freshservice agents have the ability to edit asset information from within the ticket, which will reflect in Oomnitza. With the new Freshservice Integration, you may also configure a Workflow in Oomnitza that will automatically create tickets based on events (e.g. employee on-boarding and off-boarding, status updates, end of warranty reached, and more).

Ability to Search List of Values (via Copy/Paste)

We have introduced an enhancement to the left-hand search pane so that multiple values (such as asset tags, serial numbers, etc.) can be more easily searched at once. You no longer have to specify each value one-by-one, you may now click on the new "list" icon and simply copy/paste the values you wish to search. Supported sources include copying from a text file or spreadsheet (CSV, XLS, XLSX).
