Adding assets manually

If you can't ingest information about assets automatically by running extended integrations, you can add assets manually.

You can add assets on the All Assets page, or you can add assets on the Endpoints, Infrastructure, or Networking pages.

Before you start

You must have read and write permissions for assets.

Procedure  

1. Click Hardware.
2. Click All Assets. Alternatively, you can add the assets:
   1. On the Endpoints page
   2. On the Infrastructure page
   3. On the Networking page
3. Click Add.
4. Make sure that you select the asset type.
5. Enter the asset's details. 
6. Click Save.

Result

System fields, like the unique identifier and date when the record was created, are added when the record is saved.
