Stockrooms by Oomnitza makes your inventory tracking process as easy and painless as possible. Assets and accessories can be assigned or loaned to end users, and stock maintained and accurately tracked through the application. Oomnitza simple stockroom app allows you to:

Installing the stockrooms by Oomnitza app
To install the Oomnitza Stockroom app, complete the following steps:
- Download the Stockrooms by Oomnitza app in the Apple store. The app should be supported by any iPad with iOs 11 or later.
- Enter your Oomnitza domain.
- Enter your API token. You can create an API token by going to Configuration>Security>API tokens in your Oomnitza website. Make sure to copy and save the token when it is generated.
- Tap Connect and set your location.
- Select a user that you wish to assign an accessory or asset from the list.
You will now be presented with a list of assets and accessories for that location.
Tip
If you find that there are some menu items described in this guide unavailable to you, such as the option to search for accessories, make sure that your mobile screen view is configured to view all menu items. For information on how to do this, refer to Using the mobile screen builder.
Assigning an accessory to a user
To assign an accessory to a user in the Oomnitza stockroom, complete the following steps
- Search for your accessory in the search bar or use the filter in the upper left of the screen to refine your results. The Accessory Name, SKU, Category and Quantity are displayed by default in the block view. You may notice that some of accessories returned in the search results are color coded and assigned labels. For further information, see Table 1: Accessory labels.
- Tap an accessory and select a Quantity.
- Optional: Tap Loan and enter a Return date.
- Tap Confirm.

Returning an accessory
Once an accessory is assigned to a user, you can return it by completing the following steps
- In the search results, tap the Return tab. Accessories assigned to the user on a loan basis are marked with a green label.
- Tap the accessory you wish to return. Select the items you wish to return from the list. The number of items you have selected to return will be added to the return Quantity.
- Tap Confirm
Assigning an asset to a user
To assign an asset to a user in the Oomnitza stockroom, complete the following steps
- Search for your asset in the search bar and tap to select. You have the option to change the type of information that is returned in the asset block view. For example, if you want to display the Serial Number, Equipment ID and Location in the block view, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to your Oomnitza website and go to Assets>Assets.
- Select the block view icon

- Enter the following information:
Your asset block view is now configured. - Optional: Tap Loan and enter a Return date.
- Tap Confirm
Returning an asset
Once an asset is assigned to you, you can return it by completing the following steps
- In the search results, select the Return tab.
- Tap the asset you wish to return.
- Optional: Tap Do not add to inventory if you do not want to update the return in the inventory list.
- Tap Confirm
