Oomnitza's Conditional Thresholds Workflow block allows for additional decision-making logic to be added to a workflow after the initial criteria specified in a workflow's begin block. This allows for different logic paths given different conditions.
For example, if the remaining book value of an asset is more than $1000, then you can request the IT manager's approval before the asset is retired and if the value is less than $1000, the asset can be retired automatically. Based on the value of the asset, the workflow block will either take the true or false exit and continue processing the workflow along the chosen path.
To use this block, select the field to be used for comparison, specify what type of comparison will be made, such as equals or does not equal, then specify what the initial field should be compared to. Depending on the type of field what you can compare may differ and the screen will dynamically guide you through the decision.
