Importing license keys to enterprise contracts for desktop software

You can import single and multiple license keys and assign users to license keys.

Before you start

The following types of files are supported for uploading license keys and users:

CSV (comma-separated values) files
XLS files
XLSX files

Max size
The maximum size of import files is 1 MB.

You must create a file with the information that you want to upload. The license key must be unique and the user record must have been added to the People page in Oomnitza.

You can assign multiple users to the same key and you can assign a single user to a single key.

Tip
Want to import license keys and assign users later? Add the License Key header and a list of the license keys.

Procedure

When you import license key records for a multikey desktop contract, all of the existing license key records are overwritten.

Tip
Create a backup of your license key records before you import new records! Click Export in XSLX and you’re done.

From the menu, click Contracts.
Click an enterprise contract for desktop software.
Click License Keys.
Click Import license Keys and user assignment .
To import license keys and the users that are assigned license keys, you can:
- Drag and drop the file on the drop zone.
- Click the drop zone and import the file.
When the file is validated, click Import.
