Accelerate the initial implementation of Oomnitza and reduce the overall time to value.
Create multiple integrations, activate workflows, and apply best practices, such as data hygiene, in minutes.
Before you start
You must have the Super Administrator role and Quickstart must be enabled. By default, Quickstart is disabled in Oomnitza instances that were deployed before the 5.5.0 release and enabled in instances that are deployed after the 5.5.0 release.

Applying best practices
- From the menu, select Quickstart.
- Select the packages.
- Click NEXT and click YES to confirm.
- Click NEXT again.
Updating credentials
Credential records are automatically created for each integration. You must update the credential records for the best practices that you want to apply.
- Click the credential record.
- Make your changes.
- Save the credentials record.
Enable workflows
You can enable the workflows associated with the best practices that you want to apply. If you are applying integration best practices, you might want to load data first.
- Click the switch

- Click NEXT.
Run
Before you run packages for integration best practices, you modify the connection details for each integration. You repeat the steps for each best practice.
For user integrations, consider assigning the users to the employee role in Oomnitza. By assigning the users that are loaded to the employee role, they are prevented from accessing Oomnitza.
- Click the best practice. When you click a best practice for an integration, the integration opens in a new tab.
- Click Connect.
- Make your changes.
- Click Next.
- Click FINISH.
- On the Quickstart page, click RUN.
The data is loaded into Oomnitza in the background. You can wait until the best practices are applied. You can click Refresh to get an update of the status.
To get more progress details, you can click Settings, click the integration tile, and then click Sync Sessions.
Next
When all the best practice packages are successfully applied, you can click FINISH. You can then add additional best practice packages.
If you finished applying best practice packages, you can disable Quickstart.
Tip
To view the best practice packages that have been applied and that can be applied, click Settings > Best Practices.
