Setting up the package
1. Add the SHI Transactions object to the menu
- Click Configuration > Security > Roles.
- Select the role you want to assign for managing SHI assets.
- On the Permissions tabbed page, update the permissions for the SHI_Transaction object.
- On the Navigation tabbed page, add the SHI assets object to the menu for easy access.
Result
The page you have created is added to your Oomnitza instance.
2. Ingest the SHI data
Next, you will need to work with SHI to send the data to the object you just created. You'll need to provide the following details to SHI to get setup:
- Oomnitza Endpoint URL. This will be your Oomnitza URL and the endpoint needed to create the SHI transaction records. For example, https://mycompany.oomnitza.com/api/v3/co_shi_transaction
- Your Oomnitza API token. To generate the API token, click Configuration > Security > API tokens.
See SHI integration
3. Run the Workflow
Had to stop here, workflow is not set up correctly (in my opinion!)
Next steps
If you have a development and production instance, you can migrate the package contents to your production instance. Refer to Planning the migration for detailed steps.
