You can bulk load users to the Oomnitza record for a SaaS application.
Prerequisites
The users that you want to add to the SaaS application were added to Oomnitza and the status of their records are set to active.
Before you start
The following types of files are supported:
- CSV (comma-separated values) files
- XLS files
- XLSX files
You must create a file with the information that you want to upload. The file must have an Email header. You can also include a Roles header.

You must add the email addresses of the SaaS users. Adding the user's role is optional. If it's left blank, None is shown in the role field after you successfully import the file to Oomnitza.
To find out the date format that your Oomnitza instance uses, click Configuration > Preferences.
Note
Let's say a user was already added to the SaaS application with an Administrator role. Then, a week later, you import the same user and leave the role field blank. In this case, the user's role will be set to None.
Procedure
If you import a SaaS user whose SaaS application account was deactivated in Oomnitza, it will be reactivated.
- From the menu, click Software.
- Click a SaaS application record.
- Click Users.
- To upload the file, click Import
.
- Drag and drop the file or click to locate the file.
- Click Import.
Tip
If you get validation errors, copy the error logs, and then click CANCEL. Correct the errors and try again.
Result
The users are added to the record for the SaaS application in Oomnitza, and the following information is shown:
- The name of the user
- The email address of the user
- The role of the user
- The last activity date
