For the integration with Oomnitza, create a dedicated user account.
Gong OAuth 2.0 authentication requires your Client ID and Secret to be added to Oomnitza. To obtain this information, complete the following steps:
- Log in to your Gong account.
- Select the arrow next to your profile in the upper right of the window, and select [[Company name]] Settings.
- In the Ecosystem section, click API.
- Select the Integrations tab.
- Click Create Integration.
- You must supply all of the information on the integration form, including:
- Integration name and description
- App logo and app icon
- Your required authorization scopes. The Gong User Load requires the
api:users:read
scope. - For the redirect URI, enter the following:
https://generic-oauth2-proxy.oomnitza.com/oauth2/redirect_url
- Supply the required links, such as your integrations Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
- Click Save.
- Return to the Integrations tab. Your Client ID and Secret are displayed next to your Integration Name.
Adding your OAuth credentials
Add the OAuth Client ID and Secret that you obtained to Oomnitza:
- In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
- Click Add new credential (+).
- Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
- Enter your client credentials and any other additional information.
- Click Authenticate. You are prompted to log in to authorize your request.
- Click CREATE.

If the integration is not listed, click Advanced Mode, and add your credentials.
- On the INFORMATION tab, complete these actions:
- Add the name of the credential such as Gong Users.
- Add the name of the owner.
- On the AUTHORIZATION tab, complete these actions:
- Ensure that OAuth 2.0 is selected as the Authorization type.
- Ensure that Gong is selected from the SaaS list.
- Enter your Client ID and Client secret.
- Click Authenticate.
- Click CREATE.
