Adding your Shodan credentials to Oomnitza

For the integration with Oomnitza, create a dedicated user account.

API Key

Shodan uses API authentication and requires your API key to be added to Oomnitza.

To obtain your API key, complete the following steps:

1. Log in to your Shodan account, or sign up for a free trial
2. Click Account in the upper right of the window.
3. Copy your API key for use in Oomnitza.

Adding your credentials

To stream Shodan data into Oomnitza, add the credentials that you obtained to Oomnitza:

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
4. Add your API key.
5. Click Create.

Integration not in the list? Click Advanced Mode and complete these steps:

1. Add the information details.
2. Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
3. Ensure that API Key is selected as the Authorization type.
4. Ensure that the Token Name is key. 
5. Enter the API Key, which is the secret key that you got from Shodan.
6. Ensure that Add to Params is selected.
7. Click CREATE.
