Adding your SpaceIQ credentials to Oomnitza

For the integration with Oomnitza, create a dedicated user account.

API Key

SpaceIQ uses API authentication and requires an API key to be added to Oomnitza. Users with access level “Admin” or “IT” can generate a token from the SiQ web application by completing the following steps:

1. Log in to your SiQ web application, and go to Integration > General Integrations.
2. Select API
3. Click Activate. The API token (a long text string) is generated. Save your token and store it securely, as it is not generated again.

Adding your credentials

To stream SpaceIQ data into Oomnitza, add the credentials that you obtained to Oomnitza:

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
4. Add your API key.
5. Click Create.

Integration not in the list? Click Advanced Mode and complete these steps:

1. Add the information details.
2. Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
3. Ensure that API Key is selected as the Authorization type.
4. Ensure that the Token Name is Authorization. 
5. Enter "Bearer" followed by a space and the API Key. For example,Bearer aefgd-adw3n-jknadd78l1kjndc.
6. Ensure that Add to Header is selected.
7. Click CREATE.
