Adding your Fleet credentials to Oomnitza

Best practice
For the integration with Oomnitza, create a dedicated Fleet user account provisioned as a global "Maintainer" role.

Fleet uses API key authentication and requires your API Token to be added to Oomnitza.

To obtain your API Key, complete the following steps:

1. Visit the Fleet DM website, and sign in or create a free account.
2. Click the profile icon in the upper right of the window and select My Account.
3. In the right sidebar, click Get API token.
4. Keep a copy of the Access token (API Key), and store it securely.

Adding your credentials

To stream Fleet data into Oomnitza, add the credentials that you obtained to Oomnitza:

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
4. Add your API key.
5. Click Create.

Integration not in the list? Click Advanced Mode and complete these steps:

1. Add the information details.
2. Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
3. Ensure that API Key is selected as the Authorization type.
4. Ensure that the Token Name is Authorization. 
5. Enter "Bearer" followed by a space and the API Key. For example,Bearer aefgd-adw3n-jknadd78l1kjndc.
6. Ensure that Add to Header is selected.
7. Click CREATE.
