Salesforce cases that are associated with an Oomnitza asset are displayed in the Tickets tab in Oomnitza.
You can also manually associate Salesforce cases with Oomnitza assets by completing the following steps:
- In the Assets module, select an Asset record from the list.
- Select the Tickets tab.
- Select Add(+) and enter either your Salesforce case number or case ID. The case ID is the value displayed in the URL when viewing a case. For example, if the URL is
https://mycompany.lightning.force.com/lightning/r/Case/5007Q00000VRBB6QAP/viewthe case ID is 5007Q00000VRBB6QAP. - Click Add(+) again to link the ticket to the asset.
You should now be able to open the Salesforce ticket from your Oomnitza asset. You can remove the association at any time by selecting the bin icon.
