Creating the asset integration
About this task
This integration imports asset records to the Asset page in Oomnitza, along with software records associated with each asset. This information can be viewed on the Software tab of each asset's page, as well as on the Software page.
Before you start
For the integration with Oomnitza, you will need the following:
Token Id and Secret Key
Absolute REST API uses Signed Request authentication, which requires generating an API Token in Absolute, then retrieving a Token ID and Secret Key from that token. Further information on this process can be found here.
Absolute API Domain
In addition to your token information, you'll also need your Absolute API Domain. The URL you use to access the Absolute APIs depends on which URL you use to access the Absolute console. The following table lists each login URL and the corresponding API Domain you need to enter:
| Login URL | API Domain |
|---|---|
| https://cc.absolute.com | api.absolute.com |
| https://cc.us.absolute.com | api.us.absolute.com |
| https://cc.eu2.absolute.com | api.eu2.absolute.com |
