Adding your Connection Enterprise Solutions credentials to Oomnitza

For the integration with Oomnitza, create a dedicated user account.

To stream Connection Enterprise Solutions data into Oomnitza, you must add your OAuth 2.0 credentials to the vault in Oomnitza.

To add your credentials in Oomnitza, you'll need:

• Your username
• Your password

To create integrations and workflows, you'll also need the Connection API domain of the portal that is used to stream Connection Enterprise Solutions.

How to generate credentials is specific to customers who use the MarkITplace platform as their portal to Connection Enterprise Solutions. If you use another portal to Connection Enterprise Solutions, contact your administrator or the service provider to find out how to generate OAuth 2.0 credentials and retrieve your API domain.

Generate OAuth 2.0 credentials. You must enter your username and password to access the information. Navigate to the Auth Resource section and list the operations. 

Add the API domain type to global settings

To save time entering information when you integrate Connection Enterprise Solutions with Oomnitza and when you create workflows, you can add the API domain value as a global variable in Oomnitza.

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > General > Global Settings.
2. Click Add new variable (+). 
3. Enter Connection Enterprise Solutions.Api Domain as the variable name.
4. Enter the API domain. Include only the part before '.com' and after 'https:' such as https:// api.<text.text> .com  or https:// api.<text> .com .
5. Click SAVE.

Add credentials to the vault in Oomnitza

To authorize connections between Oomnitza and Connection Enterprise Solutions, complete these steps:

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward arrow > to select the integration. 
4. Enter your client credentials and any other additional information.
5. Click Authenticate. You are prompted to log in to authorize your request.
6. Click CREATE.

1. Add the information details.
2. Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
3. Ensure that OAuth 2.0 is selected as the Authorization type.
4. Ensure that Connection Enterprise Solutions is selected from the SaaS list.
5. Enter your user name, password and API Domain. For the API Domain enter the highlighted part of the address (between https://and .com) such as  https:// api.<text.text> .com  or https:// api.<text> .com .
6. Click Authenticate. 
7. Click CREATE. 

You use the credentials that you added to create and customize your integrations with Oomnitza.
