Adding your Netdisco credentials to Oomnitza

For the integration with Oomnitza, create a dedicated user account.

API Key

Netdisco uses API authentication and requires your API key to be added to Oomnitza. You can obtain your API by launching your Netdisco Swagger instance. For further information see Netdisco API.

Adding your Netdisco credentials to Oomnitza

To stream Netdisco data into Oomnitza, add the credentials that you obtained to Oomnitza:

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
4. Add your API key.
5. Click Create.

Integration not in the list? Click Advanced Mode and complete these steps:

1. Add the information details.
2. Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
3. Ensure that API Key is selected as the Authorization type.
4. Ensure that the Token Name is Authorization. 
5. Enter the API key.
6. Ensure that Add to Header is selected.
7. Click CREATE. 

Adding the Netdisco subdomain as a global variable

To save time entering information when you create the integration and the workflows, you can add the Netdisco subdomain as a global variable in Oomnitza.

1. From the menu, go to Configuration > General.
2. Click Global Settings.
3. Click Add new variable (+). 
4. Enter Netdisco.Subdomain as the variable name.
5. Enter your Netdisco subdomain. 
6. Save your changes.
