Adding Sophos Endpoint Security global variables

To save time entering information when you create the integration and the workflow, you can add your Sophos Endpoint Security Tenant ID and Data Region as global variables in Oomnitza.

Procedure

1. Log into Oomnitza.
2. Click Configuration > General > Global Settings.
3. Click Add new variable (+).
4. Add the following two variables and their values:
   1. Sophos.DataRegion
   2. Sophos.TenantId 
5. Save your changes.

You will need to make two cURL requests with your Client ID and Secret to get the Data Region and Tenant ID. The first request is to obtain a JWT token, which you then use to get your Tenant ID and Data Region. For detailed instructions, refer to the Sophos API Documentation: Find your Tenant ID.

When entering your Data Region in Oomnitza, you only need to supply the region code returned in the URL. For example, if the URL for your data region is https://api- us03 .central.sophos.com you enter us03 as the data region, or if the URL for your data region is https://api- eu01.central.sophos.com you enter eu01 as the data region.
