To create an audit in your Oomnitza instance:
- Navigate to Locations>Audits
- Click (+) Add to create a new audit
- Enter your audit name and the stockroom where the audit is to be performed.
- Click Save.
- Add the Auditors. You need to add at least one auditor with the appropriate permissions to proceed with the audit. Minimum permissions are read access to audits, stockrooms, and users.
- Add assets and accessories to the audit by navigating to the relevant tabs. You can automatically add all audits and accessories by selecting Add All in the lower right.
- Toggle the Allow auditors to add option in the Accessories and Assets tab to enable auditors to create or add new assets and accessories when performing the audit.
- Once you have assigned auditors and added assets and accessories, click Complete Audit Creation.
Depending on the actions that you want the auditor to complete in the Oomnitza UI, you must provide the auditor's role with elevated permissions.
Result
The status of the audit is set to New.
Next
Start your audit. To do this, invite the user assigned to the audit to sign in using the Oomnitza audit app. When the audit starts, items in the audit list are blocked from any action.
