You can choose the information that is shown on each tile in the block view for Assets, Accessories, Software, Contracts, and so on. That is, you can show the information that is most important to you for your role.
The information that you choose to show on each tile applies to your Oomnitza instance and the block view of the Oomnitza mobile apps that you use.

Changes to the block view will also impact how that object is displayed in related objects. For example, if you configure the information that is shown for Assets, the headers on the Assets page for each user record will reflect the changes that you make.

Procedure
To configure the block view settings:
- You use the Screen Builder to specify the headings.
- You use the Block view settings to add more fields.
The headers (title and subtitle) that you select in the Screen Builder and the first field that you select with the Block view settings feature are displayed as column headings on any record tab that uses the object as its data source. Let's say for the Assets object you selected Assigned To and Change Date as the headers and you selected Location, Operating System, and Serial number as the additional fields. On the Assets tab for Users, the following fields are displayed as the column headings:
- Assigned To
- Change Date
- Location
Add headings using the Screen Builder
- Click an object, such as Assets.
- Click a record.
- Click the Actions menu
.
- In the sidebar, click Screen Builder
.
- Update the Object title and Object subtitle for the role.
Add fields using the Block view
- Click block view
.
- Click Block View settings
.
- Choose the fields that you want to display.
The changes that you make to the block view are applied to your Oomnitza instance and your Oomnitza mobile apps.
