The All Assets page provides you with a unified view of all your assets. It shows the same information that was shown on the Assets page before 9 February 2023.
The information that is ingested and shown on the All Assets page is filtered to provide separate pages so you can view and manage information about the following types of assets separately:
- Endpoints. The physical devices that are connected to the network such as desktop computers, laptops, mobile phones, and tablets.
- Networking. The physical and virtual networking equipment such as on-premises and off-premises servers, storage, routers, and switches.
- Infrastructure. On-premises servers and storage and virtual machines and virtual storage hosted on the cloud.
This provides you with an easy-to-use and more logical view of your enterprise technology portfolio based on the types of assets and the use of the assets. It also makes it easier to add dashboards and workflows as each type of asset might require different dashboards and different workflows.
Accessories and kits are also now available under the Hardware menu because accessories and kits, like endpoints, are assigned to employees when they join the organization and are returned when they leave.
