When you activate the request, you can add rules to restrict the availability of the offering. For example, you can add a rule so that the request is only visible to permanent employees, employees belonging to a specific department, or employees matching a particular role. You also create the workflow and define the set of actions that occur when the user submits a request.
- On the Request Catalog page, click the request offering.
- Click Fulfillment.
- Add rules to restrict the offering to users.
- To create the request form and workflow, click Preview workflow. Make sure that you validate the workflow and that it is active.
- Click Media if you want to upload a photo of the request offering.
- Change the status of the request offering to Active.
Important
Requests with a status of Draft or Retired are not visible in the user Request Portal.
