Adding your Zscaler credentials to Oomnitza

To integrate Zscaler with Oomnitza, you must add your Zscaler credentials to Oomnitza.  

Create a dedicated user account for the integration instead of using an existing user account.

Generating an API key

Before you complete this task, read Adding admin roles.

Zscaler uses session-based authentication added to Oomnitza.  To add credentials to Oomnitza you require:

• An API Key
• Username
• Password
• Zscaler URL 

1. Log in to the ZIA Admin Portal using your admin credentials.
2. Go to Administration > Cloud Service API Key Security. To view the Cloud Service API Key Management page, the admin must be assigned an admin role that includes the functional scope for Authentication Configuration .
3. The base URL and key details are displayed in the table.

Adding your credentials

Important
You must enter the complete Zscaler URL including https:// such as https://zsapi.example.net.

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
4. Enter your session-based credentials and any other additional information.
5. Click CREATE.

Information
If the integration is not listed, click Advanced Mode, and add your credentials.

1. Add the information details.
2. Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
3. Ensure that Session Based is selected from the Authorization Type list.
4. Ensure that Zscaler is selected from the SaaS list.
5. Enter your Zscaler credentials. 
6. Click CREATE.
