To integrate Zscaler with Oomnitza, you must add your Zscaler credentials to Oomnitza.
Create a dedicated user account for the integration instead of using an existing user account.

Generating an API key
Before you complete this task, read Adding admin roles.
Zscaler uses session-based authentication added to Oomnitza. To add credentials to Oomnitza you require:
- An API Key
- Username
- Password
- Zscaler URL
- Log in to the ZIA Admin Portal using your admin credentials.
- Go to Administration > Cloud Service API Key Security. To view the Cloud Service API Key Management page, the admin must be assigned an admin role that includes the functional scope for Authentication Configuration .
- The base URL and key details are displayed in the table.
Adding your credentials
Important
You must enter the complete Zscaler URL including https:// such as https://zsapi.example.net.
- In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
- Click Add new credential (+).
- Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
- Enter your session-based credentials and any other additional information.
- Click CREATE.
Information
If the integration is not listed, click Advanced Mode, and add your credentials.
- Add the information details.
- Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
- Ensure that Session Based is selected from the Authorization Type list.
- Ensure that Zscaler is selected from the SaaS list.
- Enter your Zscaler credentials.
- Click CREATE.
