Adding your New Relic credentials to Oomnitza (NerdGraph API)

To stream New Relic data into Oomnitza, you must add your New Relic authentication credentials to the credentials vault in Oomnitza.

About New Relic API Keys

• Sign up for a free New Relic account or log in to your existing account.
• You can view and create most API keys from the New Relic API keys UI page, which is at one.newrelic.com/launcher/api-keys-ui.api-keys-launcher.
• Make sure to treat your API keys securely, as you would passwords and other sensitive information.

Add credentials to the vault in Oomnitza

To add your New Relic authentication credentials to Oomnitza, complete these steps:

Make life easier and add your credentials to Oomnitza before you create the integration.  

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
4. Add your API key.
5. Click Create.

Integration not in the list? Click Advanced Mode and complete these steps:

1. Add the information details.
2. Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
3. Ensure that API Key is selected as the Authorization type.
4. Ensure that the Token Name is API-Key
5. Enter the API Key, which is the secret key that you got from New Relic.
6. Ensure that Add to Header is selected.
7. Click CREATE. 

You use the credentials that you added to create and customize your New Relic integrations with Oomnitza.
