Step 4: Add credentials to Oomnitza

Add credentials to Oomnitza.

Adding the credentials to Oomnitza

1. Log into Oomnitza.
2. Click Configuration.
3. Click Security > Credentials.
4. Click Add .
5. Click Advanced mode.

INFORMATION tab

1. Enter the name of the credentials.
2. Select the owner of the credentials.
3. Click the AUTHORIZATON tab.

AUTHORIZATION tab

1. From the Authorization type list, select AWS Direct Role Assumption.
2. Enter the role ARN.
3. External ID. If an external ID wasn't generated, click GENERATE. To refresh the external ID click Regenerate External ID . It is used to establish trust between  Oomnitza and your AWS account. Copy the value and use in your AWS IAM trust policy. 
4. Principal ARN. The ARN of the Oomnitza role that will assume that will assume roles in your AWS accounts. The value is configured by your system administrator. 
5. Role Naming Format. The naming format for assuming roles in your AWS accounts.
6. Save your changes. 

Next

When you create DRA supported AWS integrations, you must

1. Select Cross-Account in the Integration details section to use a single credential across accounts and child accounts.
2. Select the credentials that you created in Step 4 in the Credential details section.
