Add credentials to Oomnitza.
Adding the credentials to Oomnitza
- Log into Oomnitza.
- Click Configuration.
- Click Security > Credentials.
- Click Add
.
- Click Advanced mode.
INFORMATION tab
- Enter the name of the credentials.
- Select the owner of the credentials.
- Click the AUTHORIZATON tab.
AUTHORIZATION tab
- From the Authorization type list, select AWS Direct Role Assumption.
- Enter the role ARN.
- External ID. If an external ID wasn't generated, click GENERATE. To refresh the external ID click Regenerate External ID
. It is used to establish trust between Oomnitza and your AWS account. Copy the value and use in your AWS IAM trust policy.
- Principal ARN. The ARN of the Oomnitza role that will assume that will assume roles in your AWS accounts. The value is configured by your system administrator.
- Role Naming Format. The naming format for assuming roles in your AWS accounts.
- Save your changes.

When you create DRA supported AWS integrations, you must
- Select Cross-Account in the Integration details section to use a single credential across accounts and child accounts.
- Select the credentials that you created in Step 4 in the Credential details section.
