Application of conditional formatting
Conditional formatting is also applied to:
- Saved Searches
- Widgets: When you apply conditional formatting to a search that you save and make public, the conditional formatting is also applied to the dashboard.
Visibility and sharing
Default view and saved search: You can apply conditional formatting to the default page view or to a saved search.
User-specific visibility: Conditional formatting rules applied are visible only to the user who applies them. Other users won’t see the formatting unless specific sharing steps are taken.
Sharing conditional formatting using a saved search: To share the formatted information with others, save it as a search and make the search public.
Important
Conditional formatting and saved search limitations: When you create a new saved search, it will always adopt the default page formatting, even if it is created from an existing saved search with different formatting. This means the formatting of the original saved search cannot be duplicated, as it will be overridden by the default formatting.
