To stream Kaseya data into Oomnitza, you must add your Kaseya OAuth 2.0 credentials to the vault in Oomnitza.
You need:
- Your client ID
- Your client secret
- Your Kaseya subdomain. If the URL for your Kaseya instance is
https:// <subdomain> .kaseya.net/, you enter the highlighted part of the URL.
Visit the VSA server to obtain OAuth 2.0 credentials such as a client ID and client secret that
are known to both the VSA and your application. This can be done from System > Server
Management > OAuth Clients. Make sure you set the Redirect URL tohttps://generic-oauth2-proxy.oomnitza.com/oauth2/redirect_url. For further information, see Obtain OAuth 2.0 credentials from the VSA Server
Add credentials to the vault in Oomnitza
To authorize connections between Oomnitza and Kaseya, complete these steps:
- In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
- Click Add new credential (+).
- Search for the integration, and then click the forward arrow > to select the integration.
- Enter your client credentials and any other additional information.
- Click Authenticate. You are prompted to log in to authorize your request.
- Click CREATE.
- Add the information details.
- Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
- Ensure that OAuth 2.0 is selected as the Authorization type.
- Ensure that Kaseya is selected from the SaaS list.
- Enter your Kaseya client ID and secret.
- Enter your Kaseya subdomain.
- Click CREATE.
You use the credentials that you added to create and customize your Kaseya integrations with Oomnitza.
