Adding your Remedyforce credentials to Oomnitza

Remedyforce integrates with the Salesforce API, and uses the following endpoint for its API call: https://login.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/35.0

If you choose to integrate with the Salesforce Sandbox organization, the endpoint for the login call is https://test.salesforce.com/services/Soap/u/35.0

Prerequisites

For the integration with Oomnitza, you need to have the following to hand:

• Username: Your Salesforce username.
• Password: Your Salesforce password.
• Salesforce instance type: Choose either login or test, depending on which endpoint you want to integrate with.

Add credentials to the vault in Oomnitza

To add your Remedyforce credentials in Oomnitza, complete the following steps:

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward button > to select the integration.
4. Enter your session-based credentials and any other additional information.
5. Click CREATE.

If the integration is not listed, click Advanced Mode, and add your credentials.

1. Add the information details.
2. Click the AUTHORIZATION tab.
3. Ensure that Session Based is selected from the Authorization Type list.
4. Ensure that BMC Remedyforce is selected from the SaaS list.
5. Enter the details listed in Prerequisites.
6. Click Create.
