Adding your NinjaOne credentials to Oomnitza

Please follow the steps below to create an OAuth 2.0 app and add your Client ID, Client Secret and Scopes to Oomnitza. 

Generate your NinjaOne OAuth credentials

1. Login to your NinjaOne instance. This can be either https://eu.ninjarmm.com or https://app.ninjarmm.com, depending on your region. If you do not have an account, you can create a trial instance.
2. Go to Administration>Apps>API. 
3. Select the Client App IDs tab.
4. Click Add on the upper right of the screen.
5. Create a web platform.
6. Enter https://generic-oauth2-proxy.oomnitza.com/oauth2/redirect_urlas the redirect URI.
7. Select all Scopes.
8. Make sure you have Refresh Token and Authorization Code selected as a Grant Type.
9. Click Save.
10. Copy your Client Secret and store it securely.
11. Navigate back to Administration>Apps>API and copy your Client ID.

Add your NinjaOne OAuth credentials to Oomnitza

To add your NinjaOne OAuth credentials in Oomnitza, complete the following steps:

Make life easier and add your credentials to Oomnitza before you create the integration.  

1. In Oomnitza, click Configuration > Security > Credentials.
2. Click Add new credential (+).
3. Search for the integration, and then click the forward arrow > to select the integration.
4. Enter your client credentials and any other additional information.
5. Click Authenticate. You are prompted to log in to authorize your request.
6. Click CREATE.

1. On the INFORMATION tab, complete these actions:
   1. Add the name of the credential. 
   2. Add the name of the owner. 
2. Ensure that OAuth 2.0 is selected as the Authorization type.
3. Ensure that NinjaOne is selected from the SaaS list.
4. Enter your Client ID and Client Secret.
5. Add the following scopes: monitoring offline_access control management. 
6. Enter your API Region. Possible choices are North America (app), EU (eu), and Australia and Oceania (oc).
7. Click Authenticate. You are prompted to log into NinjaOne to authorize your request.
8. Click CREATE.
