Add date type fields in Begin blocks to target the number of records in workflows, such as asset records, that are affected by the workflow.
Tip
To check which records will be affected by the workflows that you create, click SHOW IN LIST VIEW when you edit the Begin block.
You can also use date type fields in the search pane views, such as the Asset view, to filter the records that you want to review.
Equals and Does not equal
Use the calendar to select a date.
Available for all date type fields except for Date type fields with a sub-type of Date & Time.
Tip
To review the data type and subtype of a field, click a view, such as Assets, and click Configuration > Data model > Assets.
Less than (<), Less than and equals (<=), More than (>), and More than, and equals (> =)

Is empty
Records with fields that have no date entries are selected.
Is not empty
Records with fields that have date entries are selected.
Before and After
Enter the number of days before or after the current date.

When the Before operator is selected, all the records with date entries equal to the 9th April and earlier, such as the 8, 7,6 April, and so on will be affected when the workflow is run on 11 April.

When the After operator is selected, all the records with date entries equal to the 13 April and later, such as 14, 15, 16 April, and so on, will be affected when the workflow is run on 11 April.
Days forward
Enter the number of days.

For example, you selected AWS Provisioning Date, and applied the Forward operator, and entered 2 as the number of days. If you run the workflow on 11 April, then all records that have an AWS Provisioning Date of 13 April are affected.
Days backward
Enter the number of days.

For example, you selected AWS Provisioning Date, and applied the Backward operator, and entered 2 as the number of days. If you run the workflow on 11 April, then all records that have an AWS Provisioning Date of 9 April are affected.
Between
Use the calendar to select a start and end date of a period.
Has been changed
The date has changed since the last time the workflow was run.
Important
You must ensure that the Add Updates to History checkbox is selected for the field that you use to track changes. Otherwise, the filter will not detect changes. You can select the Add Updates to History checkbox when you create or view a field in the Configuration > Data model menu.
Day before current date and Day after current date
Target yesterday or tomorrow's records.
This
You can select week, month, quarter, or year.

For example, the current date is 11 April, and you select This Month. Records in the date range of 1 to 30 April are selected.
Last
You can select a week, month, quarter, or year.
Last week is seven days before the current date. Last month is 30 days before the current date. Last quarter is 90 days before the current date. Last year is 365 days before the current date.

Next week is seven days after the current date. Last month is 30 days after the current date. Last quarter is 90 days after the current date. Last year is 365 days after the current date.
