You add contracts to manage and track the costs of the desktop software and related services that you purchase.
Use CSV files or spreadsheets to create and update multiple contracts. See Importing enterprise contracts for desktop software and SaaS.
Before you start
For desktop software contracts, the software application must be added to Oomnitza.
If you enter the contract start date, you must enter a date later than January 1, 2002.
Illustration of workflow for adding contracts
- From the menu, click Contracts.
- Click Add.
- Enter the name of the contract.
- Select Desktop Software Contract - Enterprise.
- Add the contract information.
- Click Save.
The contract is saved. Initially, the costs are set to zero, but when you add line items on the Budgeted Costs page, the costs are calculated.
