Recalculating the budgeted costs for contracts

If you change the rates of the currencies that you use to record budgeted costs, the costs of your contracts must be recalculated.

Let's say US dollar is your company currency. And, you record budgeted costs for some of your SaaS enterprise and desktop software contracts in Euro. The exchange rate for Euro changes. So, you change the rate in Oomnitza to get an accurate reflection of the budgeted costs of your contracts.

Procedure

1. Click Configuration > General > Preferences.
2. Click Recalculate Costs.

Note
Depending on the number of contracts that were added, it might take a few minutes to recalculate the budgeted costs.

Result

When you open the Contracts page or contract, the budgeted costs of the contracts have been recalculated based on the conversion rates that were set. This also applies to the Software pages for SaaS applications and Desktop software.
