Before you start

Before you create request offerings, you must complete the following tasks:

• Grant permissions to users to make requests
• Create a single pane view for monitoring submitted requests

You can also modify the request offering to capture the information that you need to process request offerings. You can complete the following tasks:

• Add more category values to group request offerings into hardware, and software request offerings.
• Add more status values to refine the process for fulfilling request offerings.
• Add more fields to capture the information that you need, such as the department that the user is assigned.
