Enhance the usability of surveys and make it easier for survey recipients to make choices by adding dropdown lists to surveys.
You can add the following types of dropdown lists to surveys:
- Dropdown when you select short text as the data type
- Dropdown or dependent dropdown when you select an object as the data type
Dropdowns display a list of up to 20 options. When you create the variable, you can add the options.
Dependent dropdown are available for objects such as assets and users and custom objects. In a dependent dropdown, the options that can be selected in the second dropdown list change depending on the option that is selected in the first dropdown list.
You can use a dependent dropdown in request offerings to offer different types of laptop depending on the department that a user is assigned to.
