Add fields to surveys to retrieve information from users. You can add regular fields and dropdown lists.
Adding the variable
- Click Configuration > Workflows.
- Select the workflow where you want to add the survey or create a new workflow.
- Click Add Variable
.
- Type the name of the variable.
- Ensure that Short text is selected as the type of variable.
- You can choose one of the following display options:
Option Steps Select Regular Click Submit. Select Dropdown Type the options. You can add 20 options.
Click Submit.
Adding the variable as a field in the survey
- Click Survey
.
- Click Add Survey.
- Make your changes.
- Click Save.
- Expand the survey.
- Click Add survey field.
- Select the survey variable that you created.
- Accept the default attribute. You can choose read-only, read-only and hide when empty, or mandatory.
- Type the name of the field.
- Type a description to help the user choose an option.
- Click Save.
