You can bulk import a CSV, XLS, or XLSX file of users using the import feature in the People menu.
Before you start
Before you import, complete the following steps:
- Create a .csv, .xls, or .xlsx file or a Google sheets document.
- Add a column heading to the first row that includes the mandatory fields for creating or updating the record. The mandatory fields depend on how your Oomnitza instance was customized. The column headings that you must include are First Name, Last Name, Username, Email Address, and Role.
- Add a row for each record and add the values.
To promote data hygiene and integrity, administrators can block the import of records that don't contain values for mandatory fields. See Global settings.
