About Guard

Guard continuously detects anomalies across all asset classes — including shadow IT, catalog mismatches, and unusual asset behavior enabling teams to address risk, cost leakage, and data drift before they cause operational, security, or compliance problems.

Important
By default, Guard is not enabled. To enable Guard, contact your Customer Success Manager. 

On the Value Summary page, a dashboard provides you with a high-level view of the overall health of your data ecosystem:

• The total number of anomalies by type
• The sources for the detected anomalies such as asset records
• The detected and resolved anomalies over time
• Anomalies that are still open and that haven't been addressed
• Anomaly risk assessment

You can use the charts to monitor your progress in achieving data integrity and its potential impact on your business.
