Ignoring anomalies

If you think an anomaly detected in a record does not affect data integrity and does not need to be resolved or require further investigation, you can mark it as ignored.

1. From the menu, click Guard.
2. Optional. Review the last scan timestamp. To refresh, click Run anomaly scan now .
3. Select one or more records.  Review the records to ensure that the anomalies can be ignored.
4. Click IGNORE. 

Result

When a subsequent scan is run, records marked as ignored won't be listed in the OPEN tab unless another type of anomaly is detected. Let's say you ignore a record because it does not contain a value for Form of address, when a scan is run and the record does not contain this value, an anomaly is not detected. But, say the Asset Type value was deleted from this record. Then, the record will be added to the OPEN tab as a different type of anomaly was detected.
