Deprecating accessories

Remove accessories from stockrooms.   

Restrictions

The following restrictions apply:

• Users must have at least add, edit, and archive (no bulk actions) permissions for accessories and stockrooms to deprecate accessories and remove them from the stockroom.
• Only the accessories with a quantity of zero can be deprecated.  
• If a stockroom audit is in progress, the option to deprecate accessories is unavailable.

Procedure

1. Click Locations > Stockrooms.
2. Open a stockroom.
3. In the sidebar, click Accessories.
4. Select the accessories that you want to deprecate.
5. Click Deprecate .
6. On each tile select the number of accessories you want to deprecate.
7. Specify the number of new, used, or both new and used accessories that you want to deprecate.
8. Click Deprecate. 
9. To remove a deprecated accessory from the Stockroom’s list view:
   1.  Select the accessory and click Remove .
10. Repeat the process to remove deprecated accessories from the list view.
