Using the Assistant to search for records

You can use text or voice prompts to ask the Assistant to search for records on the assets or user pages. The Assistant collaborates with the existing filters in Oomnitza to refine your search, helping you pinpoint the records you're looking for. No need to add a filter, just say what information you need, and the Assistant will find it. For example, you want a specific list of assets that use Windows 10 as their operating system. Just ask the Assistant: "What laptops are running Windows 10?"

Tip
Save the results as a saved search. You can then share your search with colleagues, or use the search to create subscriptions or dashboards. 

Example Prompts:

• List Dell XPS model laptops created this quarter assigned to [username] or [username].
• List users assigned to the Sales department.
• Fetch all Serial numbers containing the value "OOM"
• Fetch assets where the Device Name is empty.
• Fetch users that we created between April and August 2023.
• List users located in Dublin.
• Retrieve a list of computers running macOS.
• Provide details of mobile devices with an Android operating system.
• Identify Amazon RDS instances that have an allocated storage of 100. 
• Retrieve all laptops that are not manufactured by Dell
• Retrieve all users that were offboarded today

Note
The Assistant operates with the existing filters in Oomnitza. If a record can’t be found using the normal search filters, it won’t be retrievable using the Assistant.
