Before you add records for custom objects, you must define the fields that will be used in the record and set their properties. For example, when you create a custom object for offboarding users, you might want to create fields such as Manager Name and Department and make them mandatory.
- Click Configuration > Data Model > Field Configuration.
- Select the custom object from the Objects list..
- Click Add
.
- Enter a name and define the properties.
- Click Save.
