Reviewing integration settings

Review the reference information provided about the configuration of your integrations. You can use the information to validate settings, understand data behavior, and troubleshoot integrations.

The configuration information is available for these types of integrations:

• Extended asset integrations
• Extended user integrations
• Financial integrations

Accessing configuration information

1. Click Configuration.
2. On the Integrations: Overview page, click Block View.
3. Scroll down to the section such as the asset, user, or financial section.
4. Click the integration tile.

The configuration information is displayed on the Integration details page.

Depending on the information required to add the integration, different configuration information is provided. Only key configuration fields are documented. 

Extended asset integrations

Integration Preparation URL. A pre-list API call is a request made before retrieving the list of items. 

Integration List URL. The URL or URLs that are used to sync asset data from the vendor's API with Oomnitza. In some integrations, such as AWS asset integrations, multiple list URLS can be used to retrieve asset data from different regions.

Integration Software URL. The URL that is used to retrieve the software information, such as the name and the version of the software that is installed on assets.  The software checkbox must be selected to retrieve software information.

Depending on the integration that you add, additional information might be displayed such as domain or region.

Extended user integrations

Integration Preparation URL. A pre-list API call is a request made before retrieving the list of items.

Integration List URL. The URL that is used to sync user data from the vendor's API with Oomnitza.

Integration Detail URL. An additional API call might be required to retrieve information. For example, the integration list URL might retrieve a list of IDs, and the asset information might be embedded in an object.

Role Ingestion Enabled. The user's role and last activity is retrieved.

Depending on the integration that you add, additional information might be displayed such as domain or region.

Financial integrations

Integration Preparation URL. A pre-list API call is a request made before retrieving the list of items.

Integration List URL. The URL that is used to sync financial data from the vendor's API with Oomnitza. In this case, summaries of the expenses, invoices, or purchase orders are retrieved.

Integration Detail URL. An additional API call might be required to retrieve information. For example, the integration list URL might retrieve a list of IDs, and the information might be embedded in an object.

Integration Line Items URL. If the integration has enabled the retrieval of line items, a list of the line items associated with each expense, invoice, and purchase order is retrieved.
