Assigning assets to users

You can assign the assets that are automatically ingested when Oomnitza syncs with vendor applications, or the assets that are imported, or manually added.

Procedure

1. Click People.
2. Click a record.
3. Click Assets.
4. Click New action .
5. From the Action type list, select Assign.
6. Enter search criteria such as the serial number or the location of the asset.
7. Select the asset and click Assign.

Tip
To automate the onboarding process, you can create a workflow that automatically assigns assets to users when they join your organization.
