This phased rollout allows us to partner closely with a limited number of customers to validate implementation workflows, gather feedback, and ensure a smooth experience ahead of general availability. Overview
Automatically detect data hygiene issues and quickly resolve them. Guard is designed to reduce the errors, delays, and unreliable reporting caused by missing, duplicate, or inconsistent data.
As data flows to Oomnitza from multiple systems and manual sources, spotting issues requires people to review reports, audits, and/or complex workflows. This is effective but can slow down business and increase operating costs.
Oomnitza Guard continuously scans your environment for data anomalies, prioritizes them by impact, and suggests actions to fix them - before they disrupt audits, automation, or impact business-critical decisions. Customers in the EAP will be able to review anomalies, test resolution functionality, and suggest new capabilities and anomaly scenarios for future releases of Guard. This application is planned for General Availability release by January, 2026.

Now, Workflow Agent generates AI-powered workflow templates based on prompts. Just write what you want to do, and the system recommends a best-fit, prebuilt workflow. All you have to do is review and tweak the workflow—saving time and accelerating automation adoption.

Keep your Oomnitza instance in sync and trigger workflows that automate business processes when events or record data changes actually occur in vendor applications.
Before, Oomnitza relied solely on scheduled syncs with vendor applications, such as identity provider applications like Okta, to detect record changes or updates such as users being added or deactivated. Depending on how often Oomnitza synced with a vendor application, this resulted in delays and the timely execution of business processes.
Now, with webhook events support, Oomnitza can capture and act on changes from external vendor applications, such as user records being added, updated, or deactivated, when they occur. This ensures that your data stays current and workflows fire when they matter most—improving accuracy and accelerating decision-making across your IT ecosystem.
In this release, the focus is integrating webhook events for HR and IdP systems—BambooHR, Okta, and OneLogin.

Before, when you wanted to generate a report that included data about assets and users who were assigned assets, you had to manually export the records from Hardware and People and then manually combine each asset record with its related user data in a spreadsheet. The same applied when you wanted to generate a report about users and their related asset data. Tedious, time-consuming, and prone to error.
Now, within the Hardware and People list views, with a single click, you can view a list of the primary data, assets or users, and their related data. You can use filters to refine the data viewed by location, department, date, and so on. And you can choose the fields that you want to display and export about the primary data.

In addition to tracking tickets assigned to assets, you can also track the tickets assigned to accessories and desktop software.
Before only asset tickets were tracked. Tickets assigned to accessories and software had to be manually tracked and couldn’t be viewed, linked, or edited in Oomnitza.
Now, the Jira Cloud plugin has been enhanced, and you can track tickets assigned to accessories and software.

Terminology
A turnkey connector includes both an out-of-the-box connector and API presets for workflows and is also referred to as an extended integration. A universal connector is also referred to as a custom extended integration.
Overview
If a turnkey connector is not available, a universal connector can be created to sync with a vendor application.
Before, the features available for universal connectors were not as advanced or as configurable as turnkey connectors. For example, the pagination options were not as extensive, asset connectors could not retrieve information about software installed on assets, and no universal connector could make an additional API to return and extract detailed information.

AWS: Access Multiple Accounts Using AWS Direct Role Assumption (Generally Available)

Oomnitza now supports AWS Direct Role Assumption to easily access hundreds of accounts through our AWS integrations with a single credential.
Before, to access AWS resources, you had to create multiple credentials to integrate with all your accounts.
Now, you can leverage AWS Direct Role Assumption, to access all your AWS accounts and resources more easily and more securely.

Continuity of Operations. When new AWS accounts are added, it is easier to grant access - scalable access across hundreds, even thousands, of AWS accounts. Improved visibility of AWS regions and simplified configuration of AWS integrations.
Information Security Oversight. Eliminate static credentials and reduce security risk. Permissions are managed by role and not by user account. Minimum permissions - least privilege access - can be temporarily granted for resources and it’s easier to grant and revoke permissions by role than by user account.
Expand Role Permission Filtering Across All Objects
Overview
You can use OR logic in role filters which means that a filter is applied if the criteria that is set in any one of the filters is met.
Before you could only use AND logic in filters which meant all the values must be true to apply the filters. Which means that all the criteria set in all of the filters must be met. But say, you want to allow HR users to access and edit records when a user is in Department A or B, but not in Department C or D? You, can’t.
Now, you can use OR logic to apply a filter when any one of the values are true.

Overview
Enable the triggering of workflows without elevating permissions to objects or workflows.
Workflows are triggered when specific conditions are met such as a status change or a user action such as a change of address. Before, for a workflow to be triggered, the user’s role must have been granted at least add and edit privileges. This negatively affects operational efficiency as you might want a workflow to run immediately when a user confirms ownership of an asset or changes their home address or home phone number.
Now, you can enable workflows to be triggered without elevating the permissions granted to a user’s role. When a user’s role has add or read access, all you need to do is select the Trigger workflow checkbox. And, when the user completes an action that meets the conditions for triggering a workflow, the workflow is run.
